Το Trembles είναι ένα event αφιερωμένο στον ελεύθερο αυτοσχεδιασμό. Mια πρόσκληση σε μια ακουστική εμπειρία σε διαρκή κίνηση, σε μια ζωντανή εξερεύνηση της υλικότητας του ήχου και της δυναμικής της συλλογικής δημιουργίας.
Trembles is an event dedicated to free improvisation. An invitation to a sonic experience in constant motion—a live exploration of the materiality of sound and the dynamics of collective creation.

Βιογραφικά/Bios:

Η Δήμητρα Κουστεριδού είναι συνθέτρια, ερευνήτρια και sound artist. Το έργο της καθοδηγείται από την επιθυμία να επινοήσει μια γλώσσα σύνθεσης που διερευνά τις απτικές και ηχητικές διαστάσεις μέσα σε επιτόπιες εγκαταστάσεις και περφόρμανς, με αφετηρία τον αυτοσχεδιασμό. Μέσα από διεπιστημονικές μορφές που περιλαμβάνουν εφήμερες καταστάσεις και θραύσεις αντικειμένων, δημιουργεί έναν χώρο έρευνας, αξιοποιώντας τον ήχο και τα φυσικά χαρακτηριστικά των υλικών στον χρόνο. Πρόσφατα εργάζεται πάνω σε αυτοσχεδιαστικές ηχητικές συνθέσεις με χειροποίητα όργανα (διαδραστικά ηχητικά κυκλώματα).

Dimitra Kousteridou is a composer, researcher, and sound artist. Her work is driven by the desire to invent a compositional language that explores tactile and sonic dimensions through site-specific installations and performances, with improvisation as a starting point. Through interdisciplinary forms that include ephemeral situations and the breaking of objects, she creates a space for research, utilizing sound and the physical properties of materials over time. Recently, she has been working on improvised sound compositions using handmade instruments (interactive sound circuits).

Θάνος Καζαντζής (Ντραμς) / Δήμος Βρύζας (Βιολί, FX)

Οι Θάνος Καζαντζής και ο Δήμος Βρύζας δημιούργησαν στις αρχές του 2019 το σχήμα “Circa 19”, ένα ντουέτο με βάση τον ελεύθερο αυτοσχεδιασμό. Για αυτούς η πειραματική μουσική, και ειδικότερα ο ελεύθερος αυτοσχεδιασμός, είναι μία προσπάθεια επικοινωνίας.
Συνδυάζοντας τα κρουστά όργανα/αντικείμενα μαζί με τον ήχο του ακουστικού βιολιού και κάποιων εφέ, οι δύο αυτοσχεδιαστές δημιουργούν έναν ενοποιημένο ήχο παίρνοντας καθαρές αποφάσεις τη στιγμή της δημιουργίας. Τίποτα δεν είναι προαποφασισμένο, υπάρχει μόνο η αρχική επιθυμία για κάθε μορφή έκφρασης μέσω της μουσικής.
Σε αυτό το λάηβ προσκαλούν και συμπράτουν για πρώτη φορά με τον Nίκο Παπαϊωάννου(Τσέλο,FX).

The duet Circa 19 was formed in Thessaloniki in the beginning of 2019.
Thanos Kazantzis and Dimos Vryzas chose to work with improvisation as they share the same desire of making this music.
For them Free Improvisation is an effort to communicate through music, an activity that requires your complete involvement.
With the combination of percussive instruments/objects and the sounds of the acoustic violin along with some electronic effects, the duet is forming a unified sound by making clear choices in the moment of creation.
Following the impulse and the intelligence of the moment, the two improvisers are finding themselves in an endless process of discovering material that is ready to use or leave at any time.
In this concert, they invited and they will play for the first time along with Nikos Papaioannou(Cello,FX).

Λoukia είναι ένα ελεύθερο αυτοσχεδιαστικό/πειραματικό τρίο (μπάσο, ντραμς, βιολί/κιθάρα και εφέ) που παίζει μη προκαθορισμένες δομές, εξερευνώντας τους ήχους που αναπτύσσονται συλλογικά. Κάθε live έχει ως στόχο να είναι εντελώς διαφορετικό από το προηγούμενο, ενώ προσπαθεί να διατηρήσει και να διευρύνει το μουσικό λεξιλόγιο του κάθε μέλους. Λoukia είναι επίσης το όνομα του σκύλου που τρέχει τα πράγματα στα παρασκήνια. Πάντα παρακολουθεί.

Λoukia is a free improv / experimental, homemade trio playing non-predetermined structures, exploring sounds between and in the collective dynamics. Each performance aims to be completely different from the previous one while trying to maintain and expand each member’s music vocabulary. /oukia is also the name of the dog that runs the behind the scenes stuff. She’s always watching.
